Stuff The Bus

United Way of Collier County, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Publix Super Markets and Collier Area Transit are teaming up to host the fourth annual Collier County "Stuff the Bus" Food Drive on Sunday, Feb. 19.
Collier County is home to Naples, well-known as one of the wealthiest cities in the United States. However, not well-known is the fact that about 40,000 people in Collier County are food insecure. Of that number, 14,600 are children. "Food insecure" means they may not know where their next meal is coming from. About one in every four households in Collier County is struggling.
We invite the community to shop at any of the participating Publix stores listed below between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, and donate any of the following items to help "Stuff the Bus" and help feed our neighbors in need. Collier Area Transit (CAT) buses will be standing
by to accept the food.
The Harry Chapin Food Bank will distribute your donations to partner agencies served in Collier County.
