Harry Chapin Food Bank’s Collier County team has expanded to three dedicated staff to help continue Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope here in Southwest Florida. Meet our team:
Roger Redfield, driver/warehouse associate, lived in Indiana until August 2014. He moved to Southwest Florida because he was ready for a change in his life. He actually became part of the Harry Chapin Food Bank team when he met us at a fundraising event.
Before moving to Florida, Roger was a truck driver and also owned a commercial cleaning company.
Roger has always volunteered with organizations that help people in need, including Habitat for Humanity, veterans groups and nursing homes. It has always been important for him to touch people’s lives and make a difference.
Todd Lewis, volunteer coordinator, has been with the Harry Chapin Food Bank since January 2013. He started as a warehouse associate in our Fort Myers facility and recently joined the Collier team.
Todd works closely with existing and new volunteers in Collier County, and is also providing expanded volunteer opportunities in our Collier Warehouse off Airport Road and J&C Boulevard in Naples.
A Wisconsin native, Todd moved to Southwest Florida more than 13 years ago. He enjoys working with volunteers and says, “It’s nice to help people and work with others who feel the same way.”
Karole Davis, Collier County Manager, is focused on donor and business relations plus community awareness efforts. A Collier County resident since 1990, Karole has worked in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations during her career and has a strong background in nonprofit development with expertise in strategic planning, donor relations and community engagement.
Karole is active in the community. She is an Advisory Board member of the Above Board Chamber of Florida, serves as an ambassador with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of The Latchkey League. She enjoys working with organizations that make a positive difference in our world.
Harry Chapin Food Bank’s mission is to overcome hunger in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties through education and by working in a cooperative effort with affiliated agencies in the procurement and distribution of food, equitably and without discrimination.
The Harry Chapin Food Bank is committed to a future where the people of Florida are free from hunger. We see a future where the Harry Chapin Food Bank creates an environment that attracts and nurtures caring, highly competent staff, Board members and volunteers.
