September is Hunger Action Month, and we're challenging everyone in our community to take action to fight hunger in Southwest Florida, all month long. Hunger Action Month is when the Feeding America's nationwide network of food banks unites to urge individuals to take action against hunger in their communities.
Please click a question below to learn more:
Hunger Action Day™ is Thursday, September 3, 2015. HCFB supporters are encouraged to wear orange throughout the month to draw attention to hunger in Southwest Florida. Be sure to email us your orange-style photos at firstname.lastname@example.org and share socially using the hashtags #hamFL and #HarryLivesOn. (Hunger Action Day™ is always the first Thursday of September).
Orange is the color for hunger awareness. By wearing orange you show your support for a hunger-free SWFL. (Let us see your orange-themed pictures by sharing with @HCFBSWFL using the hashtags #hamFL and #HarryLivesOn and email us at email@example.com).
