Fighting hunger one issue that can bring us together
The elections are finally over. Whether you are happy that most of your candidates won, or disappointed that many of the candidates you supported were not elected, it’s time to move forward and continue working together to help ensure Southwest Florida is a thriving, caring community.
There may be issues about which we are far from reaching a consensus, but I believe fighting hunger is not one of them. Polls have shown that most Americans want to maintain a strong safety net for our neighbors in need, especially when it comes to food.
