          Efforts to alleviate hunger in Southwest Florida require minute-by-minute collaboration and teamwork. The Harry Chapin Food Bank is proud to work with a variety of partners who support our mission and strive together to meet hunger relief needs.

           The corporate partners of the Harry Chapin Food Bank provide a tremendous source of support and resources. Three out of every four pounds of food and food products that are distributed via the Food Bank come from our corporate sponsors. Many of our corporate sponsors are extremely knowledgeable about food, they understand hunger and the need for efficiency in operations, and they assume a leadership role in meeting hunger needs.

           As demonstrated every day, our corporate sponsors accept a special responsibility to alleviate hunger and to assure minimal food and food product waste and loss in the industry. The Food Bank would clearly not be in a position of providing near the amount of food weekly, monthly or annually without these companies and their resourcefulness.

          In addition to providing major sources of food, some of our corporate partners and various corporate sponsors provide financial donations and in-kind gifts.
